Does anyone know of some Wireless Routers that are powered by PoE? I have a business project where I need to have a public access separated from the rest of the domain. It does not need to have any LAN ports on it as it will only be used for the wireless.

Do you specifically need routing capabilities? I'm not sure if you're misusing the phrase "wireless router" or not. Many wireless access points are PoE and are run off of a wired switch and router.

Which access point you go with depends on your needs. Traffic, square footage, number of users.

Ubiquiti UniFis are the most popular for ease of use and cost.

Adam30K thanks for the quick response. What is needing to be done is routing between 2 networks. a business/domain IP's and the IP's that will be giving pubic access.

Business is a Class A 10.#.#.# address range and the Public will be a Class C 192.168.#.# address range.

We have TRENDnet TEW-653AP's but they are not allowing the AP to be set to a Static Class A on the business/domain side and the on the wireless side DHCP out 192.168.#.# address' for the public internet access.

Sorry if I missed something typed this just as I am about to walk out the door at work.

So are you wanting two wireless networks? SSID 1 goes to enterprise vlan and SSID 2 goes to guest?

He wants the wireless clients to be on a 192 network inside of the 10 network and presumably only going to the Internet and not allowed to talk to clients on the 10 network.

100% correct, Adam30K.

We have (in no particular order):
Cisco Catalyst 3550's
Cisco Catalyst 3550's
Linksys SRW2024P's (crap)
Cisco ME 3400's
Cisco 6509's
Cisco 2611 XM's
Netgear FS726's
Cisco Catalyst 4507R's
Cisco SR2024P
Dell PowerConnect 6224's

and the list goes on.

Building are connected by fiber, Wireless radio links, and Fast Ethernet links provided by CentryLink.
