Dell 2007fp or Dell 2209wa for portrait eyefinity/surround?

I'm wondering which one of these two monitors would be better for portrait eyefinity/surround?
Any pic for illustration would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks all in advance. :)
 
I run three 2007fp in portrait for eyefinity. I have pics in the LCD thread.

I've never owned a 2209WA but we have one office here stacked with them.

I would go with the IPS 2007FP over the 2209WA (I'm not sure what panel is in those though).
 
I've used both. If you want a taller go for the 2209wa, if you want a wider setup, go for the 2007fp, unless you're talking about the 2007wfp, then, I'd go 2209wa as it's bigger and guaranteed an ips screen.
 
Well the only thing that concerns me is I'm kinda afraid 2209wa in portrait mode will be somewhat too narrow comparing to 2007fp.

Guess I'm going with 2007fp S-IPS then. Thanks for your help, guys.
 
Btw, I have a 2007fp S-IPS for $90 Shipped to CONUS without a stand if you're interested.
 
Lol. Well monoprice has acceptable stand that allow for portrait mode for cheap. They also have arms. But I'm also sure you can find a good compatable dell stand on ebay for around $20. Not a bad deal.
