When playing PC games, what do you usually eat/drink?

When I was old enough to drink, I didn't like beer, but I liked Coors Light & Bud Light. So what's that tell you? :D I'm glad my tastes have developed. Now I actually drink beer that tastes good, because it tastes good.

Now, domestic light beers are OK if you're looking for something that's cheap and you can drink a lot of on a hot day, without feeling like crap. But saying that everything else is crap? Well, I guess ignorance is bliss.
 
On weekdays: water, but weekends: Crown + coke. If I do eat anything its usually snacking on Goldfish, but I've cut down on that over the past few years

I think it's crap compared to higher quality beers. I have to admit, I do drink it every once in a while, maybe once or twice in a few months when you go out with people. But I wouldn't qualify it as an enjoyable experience.
 
Unfortunately even if you like imported beers theyre aren't as good as a duval or some other variety from a cafe in Europe.

If I drink in the US I typically get growlers from a micro brewery. If I have to drink crap beer from a store/party it's usually red stripe bluemoon or maybe XXX. I'm not a fan of light domestic beers they just taste like club soda. I can't stand porters.
 
i always have some kind of drink, either water or something alcoholic.

beer i drink high quality: Caldera IPA, Stone IPA or Arrogant Bastard Ale, Pikes IPA, Sierra Nevada Pale, whatever new micro i'm trying
liquor i drink middle-shelf: Jim Beam Black or Pendleton, mixed with club soda or water
wine i'm a rookie: Red Diamond Cabernet
food: mixed nuts or trail mix usually
 
Yep. I had a $9 bottle of Bogle Syrah that tasted like a $25 bottle. I though I was slumming it that day, nope!
 
PBR 30-pack AKA "the Ammo Crate" for $11 at my local Jewel here in Chicago... cheap, usually shite, but tolerable shite, and gets the job done.

How does that Colt 45 slogan go again? Oh yeah, "It works every time!"

It's only awesome if:

1) You do not want to spend much money

2) You haven't had anything better

That said, the Golden Wheat variant it not too bad IMO. Not the best thing ever but it's usually cheap.
 
Here is my list of beer depending on the situation:

Money splurge/limited availability - Ayinger Celebrator Dopplebock. (period)

Easily available/moderate price - Dos Equis, Guinness (draft only), Bluemoon, trying out a microbrew or some imports.

Dirt cheap/"floating on the Guadalupe/Comal" - Lonestar

I'm with Krenum here. My buddies and I all chipped in and got the 4 cases for $100 last year at QuakeCon. At this price, they're roughly $1/can.

And I prefer cans over bottles any day. More drink less mess. Don't get me wrong, I don't drink this every single day either. It's for the LAN parties w/o BAWLS or LAN get-togethers. Of course...and the occasional day where you need a boost without the NEED for a crash afterwards that you normally get with other energy drinks.

You don't really get full on light beer. You just end up having to pee every 10 minutes or so after drinking enough.

I thought it was more like 3%, but I can go through about 5 can of bud before I'm buzzed and considering I dont drink beer to get buzzed I'll just have a coke thanks.

Depends on the situation.

FPS Games: Nothing, just liquids. (Water, Dr. Pepper, sometimes a Monster if I am up past 2am)
RPG Games: Maybe some chips between cutscenes.
MMO: On hardcore weekends, usually pizza rolls and a Monster Dub Edition (liquid cherry jollyrancher).

On LAN gamer nights it's $5 boxes of Little Ceaser's pizza and energy drinks or Taco Bell before 2am.

I really wish I could find a place that sold Bawls near me. (7-11 used to be stopped and now my 7-11 is a Chevron but still no Bawls)

Alcohol is a bit of a diuretic. You'll piss out all your water. This is also mostly why you get a hangover, sleeping long hours while partially dehydrated.

Man there is a ton of hate on peoples taste. Take a step back. Its not like anyone is drinking pink sissy drinks with umbrellas. Make suggestions, be friendly, don't take the rail gun to them.

Um I put an umbrella in all my drinks. Don't want it to get wet.
 
I drink and eat in the kitchen.

People who eat at their computers get their keyboard and mouse sticky.
