Is this online only or online + in-store?
I need a laptop, but if I can't have the option to optimize it by the Geek Squad, then thats going to be a deal breaker
bIf Best Buy corporate wants to know why their business is failing just link them to this BS sale. It's a page full of garbage. The only way they could possibly move any of this on a regular day is to give it away for free.
whats the catch with that laptop, it has to be on midnight sale for a reason, Best Buy isn't in the philanthropy business. I need a laptop, but if I can't have the option to optimize it by the Geek Squad, then thats going to be a deal breaker
It's bad enough CC went out of business. I want BB to stay in business so that there's a B&M option for when I need something right away and can't wait a few days for the widget to be shipped to me.
That's if you can predict "Hey, my video card will die in 3 days."just order a few days early
Business without redundancy? Tisk, tisk...
Business without redundancy? Tisk, tisk...
That ^
If its mandatory, its mirrored. (tm)
He said his server has a redundant PSU and that also failed (or maybe had failed prior and didn't know about it until the 2nd died). Talk about horrible luck. He replaced both PSUs via Best Buy.
Then he should have had a THIRD PSU waiting...
b
Not true. I know quite a few people who would bite on that laptop if it was that price in stores.
LOL, yeah, can't have too much redundancy. Then he should have had a THIRD PSU waiting...
I have no idea what brand of PSUs he bought, but knowing him, I know he buys quality components, so maybe he just got lemons, which can happen from even the most reputable brands.Actually he should purchase one quality PSU instead of a low price PSU. The quality PSU's have always lasted 5+ years for me and you only need to blow away some dust once every 2years. The two times I went with a lower price PSU... they've died on me after 2 years... and one of them took the motherboard with it.
I do have an emergency laptop(6gbs_ram) if my desktop does die from a lightning storm or something. So I recommend a 2nd computer... thus you can keep playing games or working while you await your online order
