Let the build begin

In the photo:
i7-2600k
ASUS Z77 Sabertooth
G.SKILL Ripjaws Z Series 16GB @ 1600MHz
Corsair Hydro Series H60
Pizza ;)

Aiming for at least 4.8Ghz on the CPU. Pushing for 5Ghz. :)

What in the name of all that's holy is that round wet thing on the top half of the pizza box??

ROFL. seriously, what is that?

oh, and plain cheese? That "pizza" is really only dough with sauce & cheese.

At least get one topping for the pizza. Or a combination of cheeses.

Haha. Its basically a big bread roll they give you with the pizza. They put it in the center so the box top never hits the top of the pizza.

Actually, there is pepperoni on there, they just make it under the cheese. Must be a Greek thing.

ugh, the sabertooth is so underwhelming. More eye candy than anything that's of use. Good luck with the OC!

What about these?

You could if you had a GRILL son. But seriously, the bread looks good. I'd eat it. Was just teasing.

So far so good. Stable at this.

Idle temps on CPU are 37-ish degrees. At load 45-ish degrees.

Unless you have a golden chip you won't be able to hit 5Ghz on that cooler. You'll be lucky to get 4.8Ghz honestly. Most 2600k chips require over 1.4v for 4.8Ghz and 1.5v for 5Ghz.

We shall see tonight. Temps are pretty good at 4.5Ghz. Idle 37-ish degrees. Load 45-ish degrees. Also, I gave the CPU more volts than it needed just for stability testing. I can back them down a little bit.
