Can anyone recommend any wireless speaker home theater systems? I'm looking for 5.1 surround sound but I could go with 2.1

My only real requirements are that the speakers be able to be mounted on the wall, and that I can run an HDMI cable from my computer to the audio receiver, and from the receiver to my TV. This is my first time looking into home theater audio and I'm looking for places to start my reserach.

I'm looking for something of decent quality that puts out a good sound. I'm avoiding Bose simply because they are pretty price, but I know there are other systems out there with sound that is plenty good enough without the price tag.

So far I've found http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16882676269

and http://www.google.com/products/cata...&tbm=shop&cid=17728419495098446976&os=reviews

Let me know what you think of these or if there's anything better.

I used to use the Logitech Z5450 5.1 speaker system with wireless rear speakers and it worked pretty good for a small room.

Just remember wireless is not really wireless. Each speaker still has a power plug that has to be plugged in to the wall. It worked ok in my apartment because I had a power plug behind the couch.

EDIT: The Logitech system is just spdif audio. I now see you want something with HDMI. So it wouldn't work for you.

I bought a Logitech Z5450 5.1 speaker system as well 5 years ago and its been working well for my purposes. I'm no audiophile so its plenty good enough for me. Like B34M3R said, remember that the rear speakers still need power, but similar to that situation, I had power points behind the couch which were hidden so no biggie there. The one thing I didn't want to do was to drag speaker leads from the receiver to the rear speakers, as back then it was a rented apartment so didn't want to drag up carpet, etc...

The only issue I've had with the system, and supposedly it looks quite common based on the logitech forum, is that the rear speakers sometimes just stop working for no apparent reason. Some electronics guru on the forum did some troubleshooting and identified some capacitors on the circuit board in the rear speakers which have gone bad(and are likely to go bad sooner or later). Some quick work with a soldering iron, replace the caps, and speakers are good as new :) Have had to do this on my system and my brothers identical system. Others have performed same fix and all works again so must be a very common issue.

What price range are you looking to be in for this setup? Would this include a receiver or just the speakers?

I would reccomend against the Logitech options as they are designed and geared towards computer use surrounding a single user rather than a larger viewing area.

I recently did a 3.1 build out in my living room with a wireless subwoofer, but wired the rest of the speakres. Keep in mind that ALL speakers need power of some sort, so true wireless isn't going to happen - if you're not running speaker wire from the receiver, you'll be running a power line to it.

What I got -
Denon 2112CI (electronics expo phone call, $450)
Klipsch KB-20 L/R speakers (150 for the pair, HHGregg)
Klipsch KC-20 Center (235 - ebay make an offer)
Outlaw LFM-1 Plus + Wireless setup (700 shipped)

The speaker quality in my setup is significantly better than HTIB type setups, but is a bit more pricey (though, if you have a smaller room, you can save on the sub).

You may also want to look into speaker stands, where you can elevate the speakers without mounting on the wall. Wires can be hid within the stands such that they're not noticable.
