The International Space Station is getting some much needed supplies delivered to their door courtesy of the European Space Agency. The unmanned Automatic Transfer Vehicle (ATV) sat atop an Ariane 5 rocket launching from French Guiana for the 240 mile trip into space. The space truck will deliver approximately seven tons of supplies to the ISS and remain docked to the station until September.

10TB of porn, 10,000 packages of ramen noodles, 100 containers of Tang, new sock and underwear and, hopefully, a lot of fresh air and water. And maybe some science supplies. And a kitten.

Space stuff is so boring especially if it has anything to do with the French.

Since it is going to be docked there until September, maybe someone is getting their own room. :D

at first i thought that pic was of a giant cake, then i looked closer and it looked like something out of willy wonka and the chocolate factory

When I first saw this I thought it read "Europe's ATV space fighter launches" and was like WTF?
