GTX 680 In Stock Thread

I was on the verge of buying 2 EVGA's for myself, but I step away for a min, come back and they are OOS again. Must be because of all these TigerDirect order cancellations. Bastards!
 
I would imagine all orders are coming from the cali warehouse, fresh off the plane from china.
 
Sooo..After I found it on Newegg and ordered it there it was almost immediately packaged.. I even posted earlier that I called Tiger direct and was told the MSI was shipping out today for sure. I called back to cancel and was told a ton were on backorder and I would not get mine till "maybe" if they get some in on the 1st... May wanna double call them to make sure if you ordered at Tiger Direct...

All Backordered - These items are currently on backorder, and will ship as soon as we receive stock on them.
 
MSI back in stock... If you didn't get one I would keep checking. There are bound to be at least a few declined CCs or cancellations.
 
Just Ninja'd the crap out of one of those EVGA's a few minutes ago. Went through Paypal with Next Day shipping and rush ordering (ehh..)

Shows that it's already in packaging so we'll see if I actually get it.
 
Just started my Step-Up through EVGA for one of these. #168 in queue. Anyone had bad experiences with this program? Good?

Same here, messed up of them. If the EVGAs get restocked at the egg, I'm gonna order one and cancel my tiger order....

Phew, at least Newegg is showing as packaging for me. Can't wait to do some benches and compare the 680 to my current hybrid Physx setup.

you might have to wait on the line with a lot of silence for a while. I was on hold for a few minutes and wasn't sure if anyone would pick up.

I suppose I could if you'd like to see it. Any certain games besides Batman AC you want to see? That's really the only one lately that I've used for Physx.

Okay, apparently Tiger is claiming that they got in a bunch of these this morning and they're supposed to be getting an additional 100 sometime today. Not sure I believe them, but they cut my next-day shipping fee by 1/2 and said to keep an eye on the order status throughout the day.

I've currently got a GTS250 and a GTX570. I think I'm going to try both of those out as PhysX cars with Batman and see if there's any real-world benefit for the bigger card.

Two shipments would explain Newegg's sudden restocking of the EVGAs...
 
Man my call to TD was the same:

Me: Hello I'd like to cancel my order.
Guy: Its already cancelled.
Me: You don't need the order #?

No, just Batman really. That will give us a good indicator of Physx performance, and it's the best game for it.
 
My EVGA is backordered at TD, they say no one has any stock and they won't ship till Monday anyway which I find hard to believe...since people are saying they have gotten shipping confirmations from newegg at least. I guess we'll see!

I very much doubt it - I've never had a problem with them in that way. I've found that if they charge my card for it (I'm in the same boat as you), they're going to ship it that day. Last time I did something like this with them they shipped out in the evening (I'm east coast), and it's still just barely after noon there.
