It says one use per customer in the email. If it performs as closely to GTX590 at 1080p as it does in the Toms review in the more legitimate review sites then I'll pick one up.

40%-50% slower on average than 590 i believe.

however, in Dirt3 the 680 bested the 590.

but with better drivers in the future it could get closer.

Man these 680 prices look good compared to the 7970s.

Anyone know when the 4gb version are slated to hit the market?

See you guys in the morning. I will be up at 8am sharp. Good night.

I can't wait to see all the reviews go up....Even if I'm not buying right now...It's still fun to watch all the new stuff get rated, etc...

Is this some sort of hint?

Only thing I can think of is that there is no need to be up so early - wouldn't HE be the one to post the benchmarks up on [H]? If he goes to bed now and in no rush to get up, it only means that the NDA will not be lifted at midnight tonight, but rather at some press event.

... or I might be reading WAYYY too much into this.. :(

I'm thinking he'll be up before 8 but needs a good cup of coffee before the bannings begin.

The card is for sale at Newegg. Edit: It was at some point.

Also, assuming that the benchmarks are slightly worse than GTX590, I am guessing the actual subjective results are significantly better than the 590. This is based on my experience with the 590 and my impression that the SLI adds a slight stutter or delay that makes the actual frame rates meaningless. The actual subjective peformance of the 590 is just not smooth, in my opinion. 50 fps on the 590 is just not 50fps, I don't care what anyone says. So assuming this card gets anywhere close to 590, in reality, it should beat it in subjective performance.

Looking forward to more info on this card.

Intel raping AMD may cause AMD to rape NVIDIA = uh oh NVIDIA.

Will AMD price cut, will they do it?

Sorry I'm bored currently so blowing on flames.

i dont think i've been this excited about a new hardware in awhile. cant wait to get some 680's.

I don't think people will even wait for reviews before buying. They'll get one ordered and secured, read the review, then decide to keep the order or cancel. :D

Have a good night, I think I'll get up at 9am tomorrow.

Let me guess, you live in Eastern time (because we know Kyle lives in Central)? What time does 9 AM EDT equal in Stockholm - oh, yes, 1400. Very curious coincidences there. ;)

Yes, 9AM EST is the first launch event and the time likely NDA lifts.
8AM is right, but when factoring in daylight savings, the time is 9AM.

I'm at 2560x1440 right now, and to be honest I was worried about the 680 outperforming my 7970 by a large margin, but if these benchmarks are accurate I'm not very worried anymore. Not worth getting rid of my 7970 for one, anyway.

To be honest, at that resolution I would prefer to have 3GB of VRam anyway. I think Nvidia should've done at least 3GB VRam (or 4GB VRam due to the 256-bit interface); 2GB VRam now-a-days is really the perfect amount for 1920x1080. Certain games start to climb above 2GB VRam at resolutions equal to or higher than 1080p.

Really interested in this card as I game at 1080p but I don't see much value in it over the 7970 for those at 2560x1600. I think whether this is a good card or bad card is going to depend a lot on what resolution you're running at. 1080p? It's an awesome card! 1600p? Not so much and the 7970 is a better choice.

So honestly I don't really care what [H] says about the card overall, if it performs well at 1080p, is priced at $500 (seems likely) and has low temps and power (seems very likely) then it's a win for me (personally).

Anyone else still on a 5000 series card? My 5850 has held out extremely well but it's time to upgrade me thinks.

That's why I'll be keeping my 7970 for the time being. I game at 2560x1600 and I would feel that 2GB VRAM would be cutting it close, especially on future games.

Kind of funny, got crossfire 4870's, sold them, got a 4890 1gb, went bad ended up getting a 4870 512mb again, still going strong but is for sure showing its age. Time for me to upgrade, was hoping for a 7950 but I'm waiting for possible price wars.

So I see everyone talking about 1080 but how about 1920x1200 performance? I just want to make sure I should jump on this right when it's available.

There's barely any difference between the two.

See everyone 9am tomorrow morning. Need sleep to get ready for a long day of reviews and fighting my temptation to buy.

Ya, gonna stay up late to do work tonight so I can spend tomorrow morning reading reviews. Exciting times

The newegg links still work on android newegg app :)

Not sure how I feel about the 4 different outputs, DL-DVI, some other DVI, hdmi, and a full DP. Have to have a bunch of adapters to use any combination.

What links are you referring too?

This is why I prefer midnight launches (I live in Hawaii). By the time I wake up tomorrow, all the cards will be sold out. So the question is, do I set an alarm for 3 AM?

I just ordered a 580 3gb...probably no need to hop on the 680 versions :)
