Not sure what the quality of these is...I see mixed feedback about them. Some reviews say they don't last well in high draw devices, but for something like a clock or remote they could be a good deal. http://1saleaday.com/family/

thanks OP - i just about ran out of AAs for my beard trimmer from the last giant pack deal from radio shack

FWIW: You can by very inexpensive batteries directly from China on eBay. I have literally bought several hundred GODP brand rechargables on eBay and they have performed well over the years.

Buy these if u hate the planet. Otherwise, pick up some Eneloops and live happily every after.

I've almost given up on rechargeables. Seems like they don't hold a charge long and when I need them, they are dead.

I use rechargeables for almost everything, nothing is worse then running out of batteries. With the rechargeables just pop em in the charger and call it a day

lol, wtf happened here?

last time I bought a pack this big about a third of the batteries died of old age before getting a chance to be used.

I'm with the rechargeable crowd, I haven't bought batteries in years and don't miss it.. but I very much want to buy this. I've got a nifty LED light the length of a pen drive that uses one AAA and is great for both small electronics and as a floodlight. I've navigated a pitch-dark cellar like it was day, but I digress.

The light doesn't last long on high, so time away from the charger would take some disposables. It would be fun to get a belt of batteries and go spelunking or something.

Yesterday someone updated the Wikipedia page on zinc carbon batteries to include "A zinc–carbon slag or battery is mainly used for sluts vibrators..."

Fess up, who here did it? :p
