I just put this together:

But when I power it up, nothing happens.
No display on the DVI output, no power LED.

There's no fan, no HDD (SSD instead), and there's no beeps.
I've reseated ram, headers, etc and nothing.

I note that the pico PSU has a 20 pin connector, but the board has 24pins.
It's my understanding that this should work any way.

Also, if I hold the power button, there's a tiny little green led on the board that flashes on for a second, but I can't seem to find any documentation on that.

Any advice on where to go from here?
Is there something in conflict here?
or am I to assume the the board is dead, and I need to RMA?

Thanks for any input!

I can find two possible of possible problems.

That little green LED is the "power present" LED that shows the PSU is connected and parts of the board can be powered, aka. don't unplug anything when that LED is lit.
If this LED is off when the PSU is connected, you probably have a power problem or a dead motherboard, try connecting a normal PSU and see if the LED stays off.

MINI-ITX boards with SO-DIMM support are known for limited memory support, those Crucial sticks are not on the supported module list at Zotac and may cause the system to refuse to boot.

It sounds like the board is being under powered. I agree with runs2far. Best option put a full psu on it and see if you can get a start up.

you WILL need a 24-pin PSU and the Monitor needs to be FULL DVI not the VGA/DVI converted...it will not show video if its not full DVI....

there should be pins on the board for a Speaker... I'd find one and hook it up and see what its doing

I know it is not constructive, but I can't help writing.
Don't buy Zotac, they have horrible motherboards and even more horrible support.
I was chocked when I noticed you model has received a whopping three BIOS updates from Zotac.

* Memory runs at 1066MHz.

Memory incompability could be the problem. Again, try with a "real" PSU and if possible a basic monitor.
