Huge thanks to www.AquaTuning.us for sponsoring this build! It wouldn't be possible without you aboard!

Hey guys! I always love reading other people's work logs and I thought it would be cool if I posted one as well, So here it goes!
The project is called "The Canadian" as it says in the banner I made. :) The reason for the name is because I am Canadian and I guess I just wanted to have a unique name, aha. So I'm kind of stating out the obvious but the color scheme will be red and white, and the case I will be working with is the NZXT Vulcan mATX case. Now, Iv'e seen many people water cool their rigs with this case, but most of them put the radiator on the top exterior of the case, My goal is to have everything inside the case, Including both the CPU and GPU under water and 2 radiators on the inside of this case. So lets just jump right into it! I have been working on this for a week now, don't worry I haven't done a lot yet :p.

Here are some 3D models of what I want it to look like, Sorry I'm a total noob at any other 3D software you guys use for case models, so I just use C4D because i'm use to it :).

I will also be using some white carbon fiber vinyl for some parts of the front of the case just to make it "pop" haha :D

Let the painting begin! So I didn't take pictures of me priming or anything but here is the second coat drying.

By the way, This is all one post because I started this work log a bit late, but I only finished some painting :)

Paint dry!

So assembling most of the case back! Still don't have the front because I want to wait a little longer for it to cure, since its plastic, just being careful :D

So lets say, I guess 70 percent of the case is painted so far, But I still have a ways to go!
Can't wait till I get some water cooling gear.

Oh! Also picked up this bad boy today!

That's it for today, I will be updating all the time and if you guys have any questions or comments I would love to talk to you! hope you will enjoy following along to my work log! :D

By the way, New to Hard Forum and will be starting to post a lot more here and there! Thanks guys!

I would now like to thank my newest sponsor! Dazmode!

I will be making my own extension cable's for this rig, the color scheme is of course, Red and white! Also going with an XSPC Single bay Reservoir/Pump unit. The front panel is finished! Sneak preview!

Also, another thank's to Daz at Dazmode for this awesome package of goodies!

Okay guys! So I started to make single sleeved extension cables with the color scheme of red and white! So here are some pictures from start to finish :D and I want to thank Daz again for supplying me the wires!

I would now like to thank NZXT for supporting this build with a HALE90 750watt power supply! Thank you Kitty and Irene! ;)

Sorry about not a lot of updates, but I will keep updating now! I will also be going with a 2500k as the CPU and a 6950 or GTX 570/580 as the video card!

Also, sorry for the late updates, the site just started working for me again, don't know if its just me... But I will update you with all the things that have happened when I wasn't able to access the forums!

So to allow a dual radiator to stand up in the front of the case, I will need to remove the 5.25" drive bays, but I am using a single slot pump/reservoir unit, so my idea is to cut the drive cage but leave 1 slot still available! This will allow a perfect space for the radiator and still have room to mount that pump/res. unit!

Man, It is real cold outside, sucks for me the garage is the only place I can do my Dremel work. :(

Also! Aquatuning goodies have arrived! Big thanks to them!

And.... Epic afternoon snack! hehe

Test fitting!!

Alright, so to allow for the 240 radiator in the front of the case, I trimmed down the front optical bays. The outcome worked perfectly, on the other hand, it wasn't so handsome.

I will be replacing or covering the sides shown with acrylic topped with white carbon fiber vinyl, that's the plan!

I feel proud of myself being able to fit that 8 pin up there without an 8 pin routing hole! :D I find the sleeving color and the case color to go well with each other, don't you? :)

Also! If you aren't so familiar with the NZXT Vulcan, The power and reset switches are on the top of the front panel, well, since I am using my own vandal switches, I won't be needing those top ones. I used some bondo to cover up the top, painted it, and finished it off with some nice white carbon fiber vinyl! I am addicted to that stuff! aha :p

So it's turning out pretty good, at least I think so! :D Still stuff to do though!

The front reservoir looks a bit bare, don't you think? If anyone has idea's on how to make it match a bit more, without covering up the whole thing,

I do have some white carbon fiber vinyl! Maybe I can do something with that?

Daz sells packets of wires? Why have I not known this! You can chalk up a site visit to this worklog.

This is a very nice looking case with a nice amount of space.
I like the accent with the white di-noc?

It looks sweet!

Update!

Alright, so I got two shipments in! One of them from EK Waterblocks! Just want to thank them again for the support! I have received one EK Supreme HF CPU water block with the EK white top. I honestly love the look of the waterblock since the minute I opened it up. The second item that came in the mail was an Intel I5 2500K CPU, I won't be going with a 2600K because that's what I'm running in my main build at the moment.

Thank you to EK Waterblock's for sponsoring this build! :)

So only a couple more thing's to order and I will be able to add tubing and fill the system up! I have decided to go with a Radeon 6970 by the way!

So after I test the CPU on the motherboard I will install the CPU block and take some more pictures, also I will be creating that cover to cover up that ugly front bay portion. Thanks for reading!

The 6970's are awesome for their price. I bought one about 3 weeks after release for $425 including postage and it's still going. I'm actually trying to get a second one from Overclockers Australia (OCAU) forums because they are just that good :D

looking good, just thought I´d mention that you can mount liquid cooling on the outside of the vulcan no problem, for example:
