Gamers Ignore Corpse in Internet Cafe

I wonder if it has something to do with diet. You see a lot of Asians dying after gaming sessions that don't seem that long. Or maybe they just don't take little breaks now and then.

If I remember correctly, this exact same thing happened back in the mid-2000's, almost word-for-word. I'll see if I can find it.

With today games and so on, gaming is in my opinion a very bad idea to spend free time and can say, the gamers like those in the cafe are just douchebags, not even caring about what's going around you is careless and idiotic. It's really sad how the young people in asian countries fell for games, south korea, japan, china, taiwan, philipines and more, could count for millions of addicted players.

Well he died after 10 hours, but he paid for 23... so what's to say he hadn't already played several 23 hour sessions in the preceding days. I'm sure it was because he had some sort of health problem to start with, but either way, sitting still for long periods of times is not good for your health.

Meh. I wake up, go to work, sit down at a computer. Go to class, sit down at a desk. Go back to work. Go home, sit down at a computer.

I'm not going to say I'm the healthiest guy ever, but I will say I've got a decent amount of people behind me.

Then again, that whole audio loving, pc gaming, college student thing means I can't afford to eat every five minutes, so I guess that counts for something. lol

Yeah, that was me up until a month ago. I feel your pain. ;)

Please indicate the most disturbing:
a) Gamer games himself to death
b) People ignore dead gamer
c) Photo of dead gamer
d) People still gaming with corpse cordoned on next aisle.

Holy shit lol... I actually had to go re-look @ the picture to realize, hey, there's the dead stiff guy in the pic!

He not only neglected his health, he neglected his own death - but since it seems like he died fairly quietly, maybe it was sort of peaceful and as pleasant as it could have been for him you know? I mean, he was doing something he enjoyed and croaked while doing it - worse ways to go - doesn't sound like he suffered much, he just died...

I would like to think I'd notice at some point sooner than 13 hours that the guy next to me at the Internet Cafe had died but I can't be sure. I haven't spent a lot of time in Internet Cafes or near corpses.

lol that picture is unreal.. why i laugh at this? increased size for the viewing pleasure:

Well great, more ammo for my Mom to try and get my little brother to stop playing WoW (he plays 10am to 2am on his free days).

That had to be something like an aneurysm. He died so suddenly that he froze in place. Power switch just went off and he was done.

16 hours in a day? Your Mum is probably right for getting him to stop playing :p I don't understand how people do it for any extended length of time. Any time I spend a week or a month playing more video games than doing anything else I always feel like shit at the end of it, both emotionally and physically :p I like to keep my gaming in moderation.

Sad is all I can say. Who needs to play a game for 23 hours straight? It's surprising how easily certain people can fall into addiction.

23 hours is still nowhere close to be enough to kill someone. This person had underlying health problems.

Heh. Between today and yesterday, I've logged more than 15 hours of play time.

Tomorrow is going to be one hell of a day since I have a bit of school work to do on top of homework, but...ME2! I'm in love.

Not surprised, this thread is actually full of lol, this could could happen anywhere in the world. This is what happens when gaming becomes the only positive aspect of your life. Get out there and open your horizons every once in a while, the game will still be there when you get back.

His hands were on the table and rigor mortis set in.
"Seeing Chen’s hands rigidly stretched out in front of him as if he were still gaming when he moved the sofa chair back, the clerk said he called police."
It was an aneurysm, because they said he had blood clots.

Just thinking about the story and the comments and everything makes me burst into uncontrollable laughter everytime I look at it, my gf thinks I'm evil, but it's not that. It's just so hard to imagine, but easy to relate because I've joked about gaming myself to death on more than one epic marathon before.
