Skyrim for $30 on GMG

Any idea when patch 1.4 will be released? I don't want to start playing until then.
 
Yeah both are Steam enabled. No need to use GMG capsule for getting these games :up:
 
bought it and got a email saying how to add it in steam but it says to enter the key from below and there is no key in the email. Wasn't even showing up under the keys tab in GMG site. I sent an email and they gave me the key and it showed up under the keys section on the site.

1.4 is in open beta right now. You need to enable "beta participation" via Steam settings or you'll default to version 1.3

Not sure when the final 1.4 version is slate for release though. I assume pending the results of the open beta.

Yeah, I was going to send the link to someone else and noticed it was at $53.79 too. Damn, I just made it!
 
It's aggravating these are run during most people's business hours. I frequently see these in time, used to wonder why people would get upset that digital sales would "sell out," but damn, why always work time? Maybe all these services work fine from another comp, but I'm not comfortable until I've done it once from them.
 
dam, just saw this, wish i would have seen it when i was in Thermo Dynamics ...

Grabbed Skyrim. Took about 30min. from the time I got a purchase confirmation email to the time a follow up email showed up in my inbox with the key.

GMG is a UK based company so the times on there sales are based on the time in the UK. They end up being odd times for people in the US but for the most part i haent had a problem with it.
 
Really excited to see this thread, only to open it up and find the deal had expired already! Boo. How long did this sale last?
 
Well I don't feel too bad. I paid $48 for it from d2d last week. This is one of those rares games that I actually would have paid full price for. I can't remember the last time I could say that about a game.

I bought Skyrim and received the email at 9:28am CST and it was dead within maybe 10 minutes after that.

SR3? I got it for $25 with the Season Pass and, while it is a good game, it's only worth about $20 or so IMO. The problem with it is there's virtually no replay value once you beat everything (which takes about 15-20 hours or so). At that point you can either run around aimlessly (since there's no replaying old missions) or restart with a new character. The co-op would be fun, except for the horrible netcode that, even with a sub-100 ping, rubber bands like crazy, making it near impossible to shoot anything. There are some "choices" you have to make, but other than a different reward there is basically no difference made in the game world because of those choices.

I haven't tried the DLC, but from what I hear it's sub-par as well.

I find it difficult to believe that you finished everything in 20 hours. I feel like I had 50 hours or so into it before I even finished the main quest line (I dawdled a lot). Even after the main quest was done I had a ton of stuff left to do. A friend showed me this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhBiNx749Zw so I ended up making a new character so I too could be an unarmed badass viking. I've probably got another 20 hours into my unarmed character.

Got another skyrim key for my friend, but I really wanted an sr3 code. It was gone in no time.

Ah, it all makes sense now. I was talking about skyrim. I figured I didn't have to say it since it was in the thread title. When he quoted me I figured he was talking about skyrim as well. lol
 
I wanted to buy another copy of Skyrim but by 8AM PST it was all gone. :(

I wondered if you meant Skyrim but the post right before yours mentioned SR3, lol.

I agree, Skyrim is a great game. I've got like 90 hours into it.
 
WTB/WTT: Anyone have a Skyrim steam key they're interested in selling+trade? I've Rochard, Alien Breed: Trilogy, and DoD: Source as steam gifts + paypal.

For $30 I might've been interested but wasn't fast enough in seeing the deal.
 
Heard that Skyrim is 50% off again on greenmangaming. Site is showing as down for scheduled maintainence for me but might be worth refreshing the page to grab the deal once it is up again.
