Interesting question, seeing as I have played and beta tested every Blizzard game until now. Somehow, I don't make the cut for D3 I guess. I think perhaps they may be trying to get people's experience that are not avid Blizzard fans?
 
the new changes have been patched in the beta today so may be too long any way
id bet late summer
