Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... could we (oh god I hope so) see a blind ambush by Kepler as a hard launch for tomorrow? (Just rampant speculation on my part I know... but it has happened with what, the 7800 series I think awhile back?).

EDIT: Hard to think they could come up with something much better than the 7970 @ 1260mhz in the H article though!

Well I'm hoping they show me something to hold me over. That last time I was tempted to purchase an ATI(AMD) card was when the 9800 Pro/XT dropped. That wasn't much of a choice though during those days with the FX line stinking up the place. I am very tempted to go & grab an HD 7970 at the moment. Today will be a huge deal for me although I don't have plans of building an entire new system until August of this year. Ivy Bridge based. So it's put up or shut up today for Nvidia on my end :p.

On a side note, their is nothing wrong with speculation. I live for that stuff!
 
I wish we had an nvidia equivalent to AMD_Gamer.

It would make these nvidia speculation threads that much more entertaining.


But in all seriousness, it would be nice to hear details about Kepler. I'd be very happy to see quieter and more power efficient cards, as purported by Nvidia's past teases and tidbits on the subject.
 
Well we can already assume that a large portion of the conference will be based on the Kal-El Tegra 3 platform. We'll see some tablets shown, maybe something in laptop form, etc. I'm guessing Kepler will be the last 5-10 minutes of the conference. As long as they show something since I plan to pull the trigger tomorrow or even tonight on a HD 7970 if nothing solid comes out of the conference.
 
As long as they have something pretty close to a 7970, I'll be happy.
 
I don't want to go back to ATI, but Nvidia is testing my patience. I really need an upgrade.
 
Doesn't sound like we'll get any Kepler info today. :( Friggin' nVidia
 
I will watch the whole hour. If nothing Kepler pops up, I'll be grabbing an HD 7970 :).

Pretty much in same boat with you...been holding out to see what will be happening, but this isn't looking good so far :(
 
The nVidia fluffpage has the following on it, so I am still holding out hope of a Kepler mention...

Ok that virtualization was pretty cool actually. I know my wife will dig that.
