Looking at all the card photo's, Sapphire has the most accessories and XFX the least. All the others are somewhere in between.
That HDMI 1.4a cable is a good perk with the sapphire card

Asus, gigabyte, and black all oos now.
Well, you all convinced me. Switched my 2 from xfx to sapph.
Yeah, hoping if they have a non-reference gigabyte it's gonna show now... if not I'll be hopping on amazon the instant the blacks show up.
I really don't think the Black Edition is all it's cracked up to be
Well, it's gotta be better than the reference dustblower... ideally I'd get a Gigabyte one with the 3-fan heatpipe cooler.
Although the stock cooler is generally louder, I like the design of kicking all of the hot air out the back of the PC. On some of those multi-fan setups like the black edition, they kick the heat out all directions inside the case.

I don't know that it even had heatpipes from the looks of it... not seeing any in the photos . Kinda glad I missed that one about now considering that, vaguely.

it has the standard cooler. the heatpipes w/dual fan would have been nice but probably more expensive - and not available yet.
The XFX black is not a reference cooler .
If only I could find this: http://pccomputerparts.net/2012/01/gigabyte-to-introduce-hd-7970-windforce-3x-clocked-to-1ghz/
Case in point, my 6990's (which have a powerful, loud, rear exiting only fan) keep my 1.25v 1000Mhz 6990's under 72C full load at 100% fan. That is a pretty good air setup.
Mid to late Jan, you willing to hold off till then?

Then again, if eyefinity crossfire stuttering doesn't ruin everything like it usually does, I will be putting on water blocks.
I like to be able to hear my game over my fans .
My computer is in another room, (cables go through the library wall), I compute in silence.

awesome, except you must be using a wireless mouse and keyboard... ugh

why are there so many in stock at newegg?!
wtf Amazon................
Yea...although, newegg is the one jumping the gun, not amazon being late.
wtf Amazon................
Newegg is smart. They won't ship till the official date so they are doing the right thing striking now. Amazon should follow suit.
