ASUS P8P67 DELUXE refurbished 87.99 shipped

If I were building a SB platform, I would go for this for sure. My Asus P67 Pro has been great, and for the money, this would be fun.

Find out their return policy on refurbished boards. If it's no hassles, then it's a very Hot deal. If it's exchange for same one only, then it's up in the air. I would still jump on it if I needed a board now, though.

In for one, will allow me to get the 2600K now instead of the 2500k.
Thanks OP...

in for 1, gonna build a 2500K rig for my brother's late Christmas present. Off topic but does anyone know if I can use his old Xigmatek S1283 cpu cooler for a 2500K?

Long as you have the 1156/1155 mounting bracket you could

Yep, been using mine with the bracket on my P8P67 Pro for ages... switching to a Hyper 212+ though next time I re-mount due to not liking the little rubber pegs that hold the fan on this thing though, have had it a few years and they kinda worry me... :eek:.

I own one of these (not refurbished) and it's now sitting in the closet replaced by a Gigabyte. It was such a tremendous POS with arbitrary reboots, drives it would and wouldn't work with, a TERRIBLE layout (basically impossible to get SATA drives attached) and a BIOS which wouldn't work reliably these are the worst boards I've ever been exposed to. Avoid anything in the P8P67 line from ASUS like the plague.

Sounds like PEBKAC, I haven't heard much of these issues...

I'm using a P8P67 Pro now and after I flashed to latest bios it solved my only problem which was a resume from sleep issue, happily running at 4.6 with 2500k 1.32v and 60c under load

Got mine in, they weren't kidding when they said plain box! I wasn't expecting any cables or CD's, etc, but the very LEAST i was expecting was an IO shield. Didn't even get that.

It was just the motherboard in a pink esd bag, put in a brown box.

Still, can't really complain for $90 on a $200 motherboard. Works great, got my i5 in it now prime95'ing away to make sure it's stable and then I will work on overclocking.

I just bought this board last night with a 2600k at Microcenter. Yes, the SATA connections can be a bit annoying but once seated I prefer them in the layout of this board rather than the traditional layout. I really enjoy the bios on the board as well which allows for some easy overclocking without going through a ton of extra effort.

Some other cool features like fast iphone/ipod/smart phone charging and SATA III/USB 3 support, I am happy with my purchase so far.

Rev 3.0.

The item description indicated it came with all accessories. Box only had motherboard in it. Anybody know where I can get i/o plates?

Send ASUS an email and they'll end you one for free. At least that worked for me in the past.

You might want to contact Geeks, in the item description it was supposed to come with,
* ASUS P8P67 DELUXE Intel P67 Socket 1155 ATX Motherboard
* User Manual
* DIGI+ VRM & BT GO! User Manual
* I/O shield
* One (1) 2-port SuperSpeed USB 3.0 3.5-inch drive module
* Four (4) Serial ATA data cables
* One (1) SLI bridge

Got mine today as well, nothing but the motherboard (disappointed). I'll have to send Geeks an email. My motherboard box was previously opened, was this the case for anyone else?

Haven't turned it on yet, but it looks great.

currently torture testing mine with a 2500K I picked up from Frys. So far so good, aiming for 4.8 to 5GHz hopefully.

Like everyone else, mine came in a plain brown box sans accessories...

Sealed with clear packing tape that had "Asus Refurbished" printed on it.

I got mine as well with only the MB :( not even and IO shield. O well, it seems to be working well with my 2500k @ 4.5ghz so far.

Board works like a dream, currently running a 2500k at 4.9GHz at 105MHz base clock fully stable - LinX and Prime95 stable for 12+ hrs (ran Prime95 for 18+ hrs) with graphics program running...

Post the pix the cpu-z screenshot here if you can also bios setting.

Any response from Geeks yet, I ordered mine on the 26th and it showing a 1/7 delivery date

Ordered mine on Dec 24, got it by Dec 30 even though delivery date showed Jan 4...

Mine came in today bare board, I emailed them about it.

Got a PM from dlphelan

So, I don't have 50 posts so I can't post in the thread, but I saw you were looking for an update and here's what happened with me.

I called this morning and spent a log time on hold, finally got through to customer service. They don't have any of the missing parts so they're just going to send me a return label and refund the cash.

Works out for me anyway, because the board was AWFUL. Lots of problems with overclocking and it won't wake from sleep/hibernation (lots of posts about that particular issue with this motherboard).

Anyway, they never responded to either email I sent. Good luck with your board!
