The gang at eTeknix have the Silverstone Grandia Series GD06 on the test bench today. The case looks like it might be decent for an HTPC build and even has a locking front panel.

Today we get the chance to look at Silverstone's new Alpha male in their Grandia HTPC line up, the GD06. As with the majority of the Grandia range the design has been fine tuned and refined to give the best performance and design, improving what the consumer needs & likes and taking out what they don't - such as the small LCD panel on the front.

This seems like a decent HTPC case, but for an all-in-one media case that can store tons of hard drives, I'd still go with the Lian Li PC-C60B.

i still dont know why they still keep making the matx/itx cases. 95% of them are junk as they can't be used properly with decent hardware. still looking for a good looking htpc case that fits an atx mb and has good airflow. also no need for the crappy front displays and/or junk imedia software. would be nice to have a sleek quality black aluminum bezel atx 120mm cooled htpc case with hidden/flipdoor OD cover.

thanks for mentioning this. ill be taking a closer look at it.this case comes pretty darn close to what im wanting.

GD06 is a Micro-ATX HTPC case for those that need a compact case to fit inside most home theater cabinets. If you do have the room to accommodate bigger cases, we also have plenty of standard ATX HTPC cases that can hold six hard drives or more. Below are some of the models that you can consider:

LC10-E
LC13-E
LC17
LC20
GD01
