-I most likely will not be using a 2560x monitor
-Card must be <10in.
-Quiet/cool are important
-Must work with a 36A 12V rail, 450w PSU (rest of system: mITX, 2500k, 1hdd, 1odd, 2 120mm fans)

Any suggestions?

Probably a 6870 as most of the more powerful cards will be too long.

oh sorry i was just looking at the part where you wanted to spend $300

6970/6950 power connectors are on the top edge of the card, not the end, so depending on your case configuration you may be able to swing one. Can't notch your case to make space?

Aren't 6950s/6970s around 12 inches long even with out power connectors?

EDIT: Decided to go look for myself...this one works.

There's also this one that's just over 10 inches.

How these cards like that PSU, I'm not sure.

for $20 more you could get a really nice 6970 iceq turbo HIS video card

If this is for an SG05, Ive already did this research for you.

Sapphire makes a short 6870 and 6950. Here is the 6870

The 6950 with the same layout can be found on that online auction site. Also I bought my sapphire 6870 NIB on that site for $140 shipped over 3 months ago.

Edit: The alternative is the short Galaxy 560ti, Palit 560ti's and for more money (or you get a deal) theres an EVGA GTX 570 that has side connectors that will fit but that will prob push your psu.

PS my rig is a mitx 2500k/6870 Sg05
