Came across a music video that's apparently based on a game. So naturally i did a search for it and found this.

How the heck is a normal person supposed to play this thing???

I'm really not into shooters, but is this normal for what you guys play?
 
I don't play it, but there was somebody on my dorm's floor last year who was super into Touhou and he was good at it.
 
That's actually pretty tame compared to some of the arcade shooters around. Used to love playing them back when I worked at a LAN center. People would always be like "How can joo dodge all the thingies!?" Ahh, good times :p

The human brain is far more powerful than any supercomputer devised by man, and it is capable of many a wonderful thing, if you simply let it do it's job and not get in it's way ;)
 
That's one of the bonus levels (and the hardest), so nothing too unusual for bullet hell. What makes it possible for the most part is the fact that only the very center of your avatar has a hit-box. Throw in a bit of memorization and practice and it's doable.

I think it's just a memorize thing. Doubt he played it first time through like this.

I'm not sure it must definately take some skill...

..because at some point extreme boredom will set in :D

I liked parodius because of the characters and sense of humor...but this just seems to be the same crap over and over!
 
I used to be hardcore into Gigawing for the dreamcast. I've beaten Both. Before that it was thunderforce and Gradius. Darius twins, Radiant Silvergun wtc. Patience, good music, and memorizing the levels. One thing to note your entire ship isnt vulnerable just the cock pit. They trick you into slamming into stuff thinking your wings gonna get hit.
 
Uh, what's wrong with it? Seems fine. You have to be in the zone to play games like this.
