WTB: slim IDE laptop rom drive

I was getting ready to reformat an old laptop to give my stepmother for xmas and found the dvd drive no longer works.

I`m looking for a cheap replacement that i could get by friday. I know its a far stretch but anyone in florida or the tampa bay area have one?

Where you at in Fl. I have a ton of them at work I could send out...basically new DVDROM drives that were pulled from new Supermicro chassis when we put in slim IDE DVDRWs. Not too much of a demand for them, so I'll give you one and you pay shipping. I am up in Pensacola, FL so it might not make it there in time going UPS or Fedex, though USPS Priority might get it there. I haven't checked their flat rate box prices, but if you want one I can stop by the post office during lunch and drop it off.
