I had a 460 and tried many mods and ugrids, etc. Moving to a 570 did not make much of a difference but OCing my CPU from 3.7 to 4.4 made a huge difference. I gained 15 ish FPS easy.

My GTX 470 seems to be handling things fine: ugrids at 7 (+ other ini tweaks), FXAA, and lots of texture mods. Markarth gets a bit choppy though.
would overclocking my 920 DO from 2.6 ghz to 3.6ghz make an improvement?
BTW, is there a way to get my house carl to wear what I give him while he is doing stuff around the house? He switches over to the new gear (ebony) when I give it to him, then when I re-enter my house he is back to his steel armor.

OH YEAH?Nope.
Though that reminds me of Bloodlines making my house wench dress up like a whore.

Ugh, another patch that renders SKSE useless for a couple of days.
What if you're not running SKSE and your game still doesn't work?
What mods are you using?
Have you tried moving or renaming your meshes and textures folder then try loading your game? Try deleting (make backups just to be safe) the files in My Games\Skyrim (besides saves)?
You can't just delete the ini's depending on the changes you had before. You actually have to set them to the same values (in some cases higher is fine) used before the update.
Did you try to verify integrity via steam?
Did you have UI mods before? This I think was a problem with the one of the previous patches.
Any patch notes, or is this only the LAA fix they promised?
Update Notes:
Support for 4-Gigabyte Tuning (Large Address Aware)
Did you adjust ugrids?just uninstalled the game because my saves wouldn't fucking load again
