hi i'm new,
i need to change my old monitor and i'm looking for a 24" led ones for continuing my passion for photography. So I need a monitor good to workk with photoshop. I'm an amateur so my budget is low: 350-400$. Some friends suggest me the Dell U2412M but not all reviews i read were positive. Do you think it's ok for my pourposes (photos, internet, not gaming) or at this price there are better choices?
thanks

U2412M could do for the budget, but it won't be accurate like an NEC or Eizo.

You should be able to pick up a U2412M for sub $300 if you can watch for a Dell deal. Here in Canada it was on for $279 yesterday, its just a matter of checking the Dell site every day. Even at its normal price of $369 its within your budget (but don't pay that ;) )

Here is the history of it since the summer:

If you are any kind of serious about your photography, ie you are modifying raw images, I would spend a little more for a U2410 rather than the U2412M. Or maybe try to find a deal on a used one.
