Was playing all morning then got dropped from server, Im trying to login and its giving me a invalid username/password issue. I tried to have them change the password, It says that it is successfully changed, But when i login it gives me the same error. I cant seem to login into the actual Orgin.Com website either. Anyone having a issue?

I don't have Origin installed but as far as the website login, it does seem to be inaccessible to me as well. Do they have a forum thread or something where you can check scheduled maintenance and downtimes? Or do you need to be logged in to see the forum?

Ya after reading here in the forums and elsewhere it seems everyone is having the same problems, Well that figures i actually took a day off of work to be alone from the Kids and Wife to plya BF3  Oh well hehe, ill keep trying back every 30 mins or so i guess.

Wasn't there a maintenance warning on origin last night about PC and Xbox going down today for a while?

I never really understood why companies don't schedule downtime for midnight PST for North American servers. I had this problem with MMOs as well, and their weekly maintenance period. I guess they'd rather inconvenience thousands of customers than ask a handful of techs to pull a night shift.

Maybe they figure people will actually be working at 10AM on a Tuesday and gaming at Midnight.

:D

Origin is still down but hopefully they fix that content problem. I had the issue, but restarted Origin and it worked for a bit. The new maps are definitely more taxing on my weak laptop hardware. I played on a 64-man server on all four maps and the action was insane. At times it was difficult to discern any direction or momentum with the tremendous chaos happening all around.

I love me some BF2... and this is awesome. :D

My day of gaming has been somewhat crushed by this...lol... No swtor invite, now i cant play BF3... next thing you know i will have to go stand in the sunlight, i'm not liking this at all.

ROFL

FYI - Battlelog shows they're doing maint right now.

Work bah. I miss the good old college days when I could schedule my classes to fit them all on three days during the week, not to mention the dorm T3 connection, and luckily I didn't go to a school with a Steam ban.

This is what I hate about games getting more and more dependent on cloud services/master servers... something fails on one end and the whole system gets screwed...

Direct connect without origin would solve all the issues......sadly that will never happen.

On the Battlefield facebook fan page:

We're aware of the issues accessing Origin. We’re investigating the cause, and will provide updates ASAP. Thanks for your patience.

I also can't say I like the web interface for BF3's menus. It looks like playing this game would be impossible without an internet connection. Not cool if your ISP is having issues and all you've got to do is play games.

Origin has an offline mode as well. Launch BF3 from the shortcut and if you can't connect online it will default to offline mode.
