Looking for opinions on which of these two to buy for my 2700k and I will be overclocking with my H70.

They are both priced the same (give it take $20). I will be using this is a mid tower case so mATX isn't a requirement.

Ultimately, they both satisfy my I/O needs (Sata 6gb/USB 3.0).

Which one would you guys recommend for my use? Just overclocking and gaming.

Gene-Z....depending on how quickly you are wanting to get this build done, the Gene-Z Gen 3 should be out soon.

They are both awesome boards comes down to connections if you need some of the additional expansion ( sata , PCI-E etc ) I would go with the PRO if you want the maximum number of OC options and tweaking and tuning then go ROG with the GENE board. In most situation those your limiting factor will be the cooling and the CPU not the boards. For realworld overclocking both are capable of the same frequencies.
