I have the MSI E350-IA with the Fusion e350 on it, and it works great (just wish Netflix would enable hardware acceleration in Silverlight) I have it connected to an Onkyo TX-SR608 via HDMI and then to a Visio 42 LCD, does H.264 1080p24 video perfectly, however I have one issue and might cross post this to the AMD side as well, when I switch from the HTPC to something else like a cable box and then back, there is no audio thru HDMI, I have to look at the Audio Devices window and it sees HDMI audio out with nothing connected... then it goes... whoops there is something connected and the audio comes back. I am not sure what steps to take to force windows to not disable the audio upon switching inputs from one device to another. Anyone have any ideas?

Its running 4gb of RAM and Windows 7 x64 with SP1 and all the latest updates, not sure on the driver versions for both the motherboard and GPU... AMD does not make it easy to figure that one out on their website.

Unfortunately you can't easily force it not to disable audio. One aspect of Digital Rights Managemant (DRM) is the the HDMI Protected Audio Path (PAP) which forces a reset of the audio when it detects something is added or removed. They are ways around it but they center on defeating the DRM. That being said and at the risk of starting another Nvidia vs AMD fight, in my experance Nvidia handles the switches better. Having used a 4350, 4850 and 5450 in my main HTPC my experance has been that AMD usually requires more effort that varies greatly with the driver version. With every update, there was a learning curve to figure out what needed to be done and switching sources on the receiver always required mouse clicks to get everything working again. My Nividia GT 430 on the other hand requires no mouse clicks. With your motherboard only have one slot an add on card might not be a feasable option.

well at least just a quick testing seems to have resolved it for now, I updated the drivers to the latest 11.11 and disabled the ATI event service from running, that seems to have fixed it. now to get XBMC to stop studdering video when coming back from sleep.
