Hi folks,

Since Canada Computers fucked me by jacking up the price of the Supermicro case I was going to get, I need some suggestions as alternates:

1) Case must have a redundant PSU with at least 500W, preferrably more and preferrably as efficient as possible.

2) Case must have 24 SAS bays, hot swap. Despite me checking with CC's sales people and on their website, I ordered two cases for $479 AND six 8 port controllers from elsewhere so I can support 24 drives in each server of my storage cluster. I'll be damned that I don't get to use all three controllers in each. (By the way, did I mention Canada Computers can suck a bag of dicks? Now the case price is $1100 and way out of the budget.)

3) Case must be able to accomodate full height cards... my quad port NICs and HBAs require it.

Thank you all very kindly for your suggestions, folks.

-J.

That was my initial idea but I was overruled by my colleagues.
