Very nice screen! How do you like the glossy screen? I was thinking about upgrading my 2 Sammy 245bw to these. Anything you do not like?

I grabbed the S27A950 and I don't mind the glossy ...I usually have the lights down in front of the monitor and some ambient behind , that keeps reflections to a minimum...it has a great look , and it has an acceptable 3D system and 120 mhz gaming is sweet like "olden times" with my 21" Sony Trinitron CRT
 
Hey Guys, im new to the forum, im monitor crazy like you guys, i want to do eyefinity but i havent, i work a lot, this is my office, i really wanted to get some imput on how to set it up, i dont know what to do, i got a 3007fps, i got a u3011, i got a u2711, i got 4 x p2311

any good gaming ideas

any suggestions?

A lot depends on whether you have any multimonitor mounts - if you don't have any, it limits the layout.

Also be aware that currently Eyefinity is limited to monitors of the same resolution. For example, you could use the 3007fps and u3011 together but not add the u2711 to the Eyefinity group because it is a different resolution unless you dropped the max resolution of the 3007fps and u3011.

Very important question: what video card(s) do you have???
 
when u get used to them in tandem, they are very useful... i use the trackpad w/ my left hand and the mouse w/ my right simultaneously for a lot of work and workflow wise, it is phenomenally productive... the various touch gestures ie. swipe, scroll, pinch zoom etc. in conjunction w/ the traditional cursor function of a mouse makes for an amazing user interface experience when dealing with media work =)
 
Small update (initial system is on page 916)

+ Lilliput 7" USB Monitor - don't have enough space for a proper 3rd monitor
+ TC Electronic Desktop Konnekt 6

right now i haave no computer setup, i am probaby going to wait till i get another 2 u3011

Wow, you must have a lot of disposable income. I thought my U3011 purchase was "extreme" for only gaming and general purpose usage.

Make sure to set up your three monitors in portrait mode because in landscape they might be too wide for your liking.

thanks buddy... as mentioned above, desks are cheap but good table tops from IKEA

i believe the shelved blocks are called VIKA ANNEFORS and the actual table tops are called VIKA AMON... just buy 2 and push them in a L shape and u have a fantastic, albeit quite large, corner computer desk lol, cheers~

My Eyefinity display, finally completed with a 3 monitor arm purchase. Thanks to this forum thread. :)

Plays Bf3 pretty well, viewing angle on the screens isn't so great so blacks look terrible... but totally workable for my first setup.
