I just picked up a Panasonic 50GT30 screen and I am using a Pioneer SC-07 receiver. I am wondering if there is an issue piping 3D video through my receiver or do I need one HDMI 1.4 compliant? My two main sources will be my PS3 and my i5-2500k HTPC. I really dislike 3D I just want to know if it's doable for others in the house.

If you turn off video processing, you should be able to use your old receiver for 120hz content. It won't process the video obviously but you can use it for audio.

My Yamaha receiver is not 1.4 HDMI compliant, but it's not an issue. I run the video direct from the Blu-ray, HTPC and cable box to the HDTV with HDMI, and run the audio thru the receiver with optical/digital audio. Works great and I can watch 3d from all three components.

Connect the HDMI from your HTPC to send video to your Panasonic 50GT30. Setup 'Extended desktop' on your HTPC and connect the DVI out from your HTPC to your SC-07 using a DVI-HDMI adapter. By doing this, you should be able to watch 3D movies as well as get HD-Audio bitstreamed to your receiver.
