I had a working computer.... antec 850 power supply
p6t motherboard
i7 920

I just upgraded to an i7 970... and the computer turns on.. everything sounds normal but nothing gets sent to the monitor. I have 3 different video cards and I tried putting them in(one at a time) but the same thing. I also tried different monitors.

then i went back and put in my old cpu... same problem. everything turns on but no signal to the monitor. Any suggestions?

well I took out the cmos battery for 10 minutes and put it back in... I also tried hooking up a different power supply. Still nothing. argh

I tried with two different monitors... each having their own cables and that were working previouslyd

Make sure power is connected to your graphics cards? Do the cards work in other systems?

yes... I have 3 GTX 580's that were working..... I tried each of them . I am thinking it is the motherboard but it was working fine before the upgrade. I made sure to keep static discharged from me.

no debug LED. a couple of hours ago though I ordered a case speaker from amazon. My antec 1200 never came with one so I can't hear beep codes
