The return of the REAL MW:2

Can I get a "HELL YEAH"?

HELL YEAH.

I think I'll load up MW:LL; for the 2nd time today, to celebrate. :)

Joystick support is a "strong probability"? What the hell does that mean? Like I would play this with a mouse. lol

I know I may be in the minority, but I never really used a joystick. I tried it, sure, but I just mapped the torso-twist to Q and E.

Man I wish MW2 ran on Win7. I have some mad nostolgia going on right now!

Go play MW:LL then!

I am pleased to know this is still going forward but the whole free-to-play aspect worries me. On a side note, love the concept art style. That Hunchback interpretation is Awesome...I mean...fantastic! :D

Hmm can't wait to see some solid footage. Still have HAWKEN floating in the back of my mind!

Oh yeah, I guess that's right. Hmmm. It won't even run in 7 with XP Compatibility Mode or as administrator? That's too bad.

You could always try importing XP mode into VMWare Player or VirtualBox and install the tools for 3D acceleration.

That, or DOSBox.

I played MW2 at first with a Gravis Phoenix and later on after I broke that expensive piece of shit, with a KB/M and a set of rudder pedals. (The mouse controlled the torso/gun aim, mouse wheel for throttle, I steered the mech with the rudder pedals, and used wasde for jump jets.)

I am watching this one for sure. Just not sure if I have enough time to devote to it. It seems like the sort of game you would need to play almost daily to keep up with the in game war.

Hmmmm...They used "Call of Duty" when describing a game about mechs..Also free to play, with a mix of Diablo? I'm smelling something similar to Global Agenda here. Also. Whats up with the joystick support? It "might" have it? I'm not going to hold my breath on this one.

This is going to be awesome, I hope they have an awesome soundtrack like MW2 did.

Its about time they release some more information. Thought this project went the way of the Dodo. Can't wait.

This is MW:2 we're talking about. It was 1995.

The Riva TNT wasn't even released until 1997.

In other words, no 3D acceleration necessary ;)

I had the ATI 3d rage edition, It looked awesome. I wish I could still play it, the visuals were better than the titanium edition (or I'm just remembering it better than it really was).

Man, I remember getting MW2 with my computer, then we bought a Matrox card, wasn't completely "3D" or something but it came with an enhanced version specifically for that card. Made it sooo much better.

Very cool, definitely looking forward to this. Now to get some free time to actually play games, that would be priceless.

Interesting choice. I like it given the graphics/requirements ratio. Makes it very accessible.

@-Sn1PeR-

That's probably the best news I have heard about this game.
I give props for the guys at MWLL for showing that this can be done with a crysis engine.
