Apple 30inch Cinema Display

Did apple stop production on these? I can't seem to find it on their website. They seem to be promoting the the 27inch thunderbolt display alot. If they stopped making/selling the 30inch cinema display, is there a reason why?
 
Yeah... the 30" is a long dead product and uses very old technology, I would advice against buying one. The entire industry is shifting towards 16:9, which is why more and more R&D is going into 27" displays as opposed to 30" which is 16:10. I'm not saying that's a good thing, but it is what it is.
 
The 30 inchers occasionally pop on Apple's refurb site. Checking it often is your best bet in scoring one.
 
So what about the U3011, does that use a much newer technology than the Apple 30 inch? I do like the Dell product but I am a bit undecided on the AG.
 
The U3011 is a great display if you can live with the aggressive AG. It uses the same tech as the new Apple LED Cinema Display 27"... same as the 30" HP zr30w. You can buy cutting edge 30" IPS monitors, I just meant that with Apple, there seems to be a trend towards 27". And LG didn't advertise any 30" panels that I am aware of (only 27") at the SID show this year.
 
If you really want the 30" monitor, You can go on ebay and buy a Dell 3007WFP-HC (same exact panel as the apple cinema) They sell for about $720 used from one seller who constantly post them with very good feedback. I bought mine brand new 3 1/2 years ago and still use it very happily. I don't need anything more and my games look amazing at 2560x1600. Good luck!

I actually want a 30 inch ips panel which is not blurry and has no AG haha lol i am not gonna get what I want
 
Can't sell your items outside of FS forums. There's a reason why you can't post in FS forums. Not to mention $1000 for your 3 year old ACD is a terrible price.
