You may remember seeing the movies when they were first run or more likely saw them on TV reruns over the years, but Chucky the murderous doll is getting his own video game. The movie series first hit the screen in 1988, so why make a game now? TikGames says that’s simple: The fans asked for it.
 
Which fans, exactly?

Sounds to me more like the creator is the "fan"
 
hell yeah it could be fun... that movie was creepy as hell... I saw it when I was like 8 though... recently saw a bit of it and laughed my ass off. This could be good

Hmmm.... let's see... games made from good movies usually end up really shitty, I wonder how a game made from a really shitty movie will turn out...

I thought the first one was a decent horror for its time. Child's Play was tarnished by the subsequent sequals though in my opinion.
 
I always thought those movies were stupid as fuck but I was born in '75 so...

Yeah, after the first one it turned into a cheesy horror comedy instead of horror. Which actually leads to those who are wondering why they are making this game. The creator didn't like the direction that the later movies went. They are rebooting the series and remaking the first movie it is due out in 2013. They want to go back to making it a real horror movie again and not the comedy movie.

Chucky movies are cool :)

You just have to check your brain at the door, sit back, and enjoy the ridiculous ride.

Kinda like 95% of all movies these days.
 
I remember when I first watched the 3rd movie as a kid. Couldn't sleep for days. FUCK THIS MOVIE.
 
What would be hilarious and cause contraversy is if the player controlled chucky and had you somehow chant those "demonic mumblings" when possessing someone's soul. God bless you Charles Lee Ray...haha!!!

Childs Play didn't do that to me, but it did give me Nightmares, now Nightmare on Elm street, I had nightmares for over a year and couldn't sleep for a couple days after my dad thought it would be funny to ignore my mom and let me see it anyways.

Bag of popcorn = $0.40
VHS rental = $3
1 year of therapy for nightmares of being chased, slashed, gutted like a fish and terrorized by Freddy Krueger = $4,000
