mine wont go anywhere once i execute the down-loader, just tells me there's a problem and sends me back to the game download library
 
whats the difference between dog tag key and regular key on amazon? thanks, sorry if this has already been asked.

Mine too. In one of the Amazon Discussion threads, the Amazon Downloads official account stated the following:

Due to extremely high order volume for Battlefield 3 we are experiencing some technical difficulties today. We expect to be able to give you access to your pre-load within the next few hours so you will have plenty of time to load the game before release on October 25th. You will receive an email when your pre-load is available. Thank you for your patience!

Damn it. I stubbed my toe here at my computer desk when I turned in my chair from the left to the right to see some update message on Origin just now.

Preorder cancelled again.

Its on origin, I took my Amazon key and just activated a product on origin and started the DL, half done, 11.4 gigs at 1.9MB/S.

Mine's sitting here and nothing's happening even when I click on it.

What step am I missing here? I have seen no further emails of course they said up until 12 am PDT basically so that's a long time from now. ;)
 
This game is a fucking console port that does not deserve to have the title "Battlefield". Pre-order never made cuz they don't deserve the money.:eek:

LOL, are you serious? Have you used the Beta and looked over the PC media for this game?
 
With the download starting today, the 21st, my power supply blew last night....:mad:

Have to wait for 3-day delivery from Newegg. Have no idea if the supply took out anything. It was a pretty clean................all of a sudden, no power. Did the green wire power on test...no go.

It was a high end Thermaltake Toughpower 850 watts, about 2.5 years old. I had been playing w/ 5870 overclocking this week (never had before)....could this have done it? Been a great psu up until last night.

Yeah, that's where I've been looking. Just have a 'Download' button and 'view order details.' No key in evidence. I guess my account just hasn't been updated yet.

Patience...can't play until the 25th anyway (that's what I keep telling myself)
 
Ugh, keep getting this message saying an error has occurred and it kicks me back to my games library

No LAN support, less classes or consolidated classes compared to bf2, no commander, no server browser, no joystick/flightstick support. On top of all that you have the origin/steam debate. I will not install origin.

I get the feeling that the game was designed around consoles. They should have called it Bad Company 3. I'd have been fine with that. You guys have fun though, these are deal breakers for me.
