More Battlefield 3 Multiplayer Gameplay Footage

I thought I grew out of video game anticipation... but... after watching these videos I don't think I have. Definitely a fan of the base jumping. I hope I don't have to upgrade a video card for this, but I have a feeling I will.

If you use a 1080p monitor at full game resolution, than yes... you probably will have to

I use that same card, am thinking the same thing... but I use 1280x1024 old monitor still :D So I should be good for another year, at least. Maybe you can find an old cheap monitor so you can run at a nice lower res :)

And I sell games... this is the #1 game I've sold so far in terms of preorder. 40+ copies easily, just through me

gahh, why can't kepler come out now? My GTX 570 I'll probably have to dial down the details so the FPS doesn't dip too much.

According to DICE the 570 is a "recommended" card for 1920x1080 at High settings. During the beta I was getting decent framerates with Ultra settings, even with AA and AO on. I'm guessing if you turn down/off AA and AO in the final you can run Ultra settings just fine.

I just received my 2nd 6870 yesterday. I hope I can now run some things in Ultra.

Yep. 1920x1200. It was only a matter of time. :p

Depends on how fancy you want it to look. I'm guessing it should run okay on Medium/High settings with no AA or AO with your card.

I just don't know how they are going to handle the origin client. Its not really convenient as you need a browser to start games and find servers. The stats and social networking is kind of nice though.
