Hey all, looking to pick up a gaming mouse soon (okay, the miser in me finally lost) to pair up with the SS QcK Heavy I've decided on (based on the thread I made a few weeks back).

Looking for a mouse to replace my G5 with. The natural replacement would be the G500, but I'm open to others as well. As it is, I'm fine with the G5 though. No wireless for me.

I'm looking at either the Imperator 4G or the G500.

The Imperator has just been slightly refreshed. The G500, no changes as of launch. Just wondering if anyone's heard any rumor/whiff of a G500 refresh. I think I bought my G5 just as the V2 was getting released.

Any thought/suggestions/other mice I should consider? Thanks!

I just got the G700 and I'm fairly happy with it so far. Only downsides thus far are the weight and the stiffness of the cord. I got it because of the ample amount of buttons. But it takes me a good long while before I can adjust to new mice/keyboards so I don't expect them to get any use any time soon.

If I didn't get the G700 for $49.99 I would have considered the Razer Mamba/Imperator or G500. Not the Naga :p

I'm really digging the G300. Really nice feets, nice weight, nice size, nice scroll wheel, nice opticals, nice price, really can't complain. Works pretty good for RTS games imo.

You can't go wrong with a G500. I have two of them and they're excellent mice.

G400 is also another option unless you hated the MX518. It's a very good mouse unless you need weights/more buttons.

I just upgraded my mouse last Tuesday from a Cooler Master Storm Sentinel to a Saitek Cyborg R.A.T. 7. I must say, I love the design of the RAT. I especially love the customizability of the RAT.

3 different palm rests, 3 different pinkie rests, adjustable thumb area that can be moved forward or back and angled in or outwards and the palm rest can be slid forward to make the mouse shorter or back to make it longer.

Picked it up at Amazon for $70, where as Newegg wanted $85.

G400 as it's almost like an exact replica of the MX518 but with higher precision and dpi.
