I went ahead and applied to the platoon, Origin id is gigasmack.

It was good playing with a few of you tonight, I'm sure I'll be back tomorrow.

just applied to the platoon.

Anybody know how i unlock my veteran status? I have the multiple games, and i can see some people have vet status on their profiles, but i dont know how to get it on mine :(
 
I joined up. But I wonder if the platoon will carry over to the full game? If it does, I was actually going to change my origin ID and I wonder if that will be notified to the platoon admin/leader, or if I'll have to rejoin? I guess if the account is the same and all that changes is the name maybe it will automatically update? I don't expect anyone to know this, I'm sure this is something only EA/DICE knows at the moment, but I'm just putting it out there.

I think everything gets reset, even the platoons and friends list..
 
Tried the link and its dead. That was all for Beta stuff so you might have to re-create the platoon.
 
As soon as retail comes out we will have another one. Hopefully battlelog will be open during preload.
 
Are there a few people planning to pull an all nighter, and play this until dawn? Id like to form at least a squad of people to play with launch night.

Teamwork is key, so pre-formed teams will win randoms 95% of the time. Hopefully they launch battlelog around the time preload starts, so we can get this platoon back together.

I'm game on this. I'll be playing every day, although I haven't decided whether or not I'm going to work at the office or at home the rest of the week.
