Refurbished Viewsonic 23" IPS VP2365WB 119.99 + FS

14 ms response time? Isn't that kinda low? Or do I not know enough about monitor technology?

Max of 2.. Otherwise would be fun for Eyefinity 5.. 5400x1920 gaming..

Response times are all relative, and really depends on who's reporting them and how they are. Some will give you the grey to grey ms and some will give you the overall ms.

IPS screens never have a super retardedly fast response time like cheaper TN panels. wats important is input lag.

nice looking deal

14ms is high for IPS , mine is 6ms but TN panels and IPS panels have different kinds of measurements for response time since they aren't the same kind of panel tech.

But at $119 you really can't complain. You won't find a cheaper way to get an Eyefinity setup with IPS monitors.

A 5 egg average with 47 reviews at Newegg, and portrait mode? Sounds pretty darn good.

Too bad it's sold out because i would have bought one.

You sure about the 26'' being sold out? I got all the way to the confirm billing page without any notification of it being sold out.

it isn't sold out but back ordered. anyone have luck with macmall back orders?

That was an excellent deal. I used to own one and gaming on it was fine. Picture was great as well.

Ordered 3x 26 inch IPS 1900x1200 screens for $519 SHIPPED.

Holy shit, what a hot deal.

Called MacMall and confirmed, they are getting more in stock on the 6th. Ordered in 3 orders using different cards to guarantee the free shipping.

Order one at a time and it's free. 60lbs weight limit, so you need to do 3 separate orders.

son of a gun, wont let me order, in the cart it says "sold out" and won't let me proceed,,,,

Gonna try a few more times, or call

Shit, you're right. It wouldn't let me put another on in my cart either. Now I feel semi-guilty for ordering three - it sounded like they had a lot coming back in stock since he didn't mention the amount of them.

lol, you lucky sob!!! :p

Gonna try to reach them via chat, and hopefully get an order in for the 26".

Spoke to a rep via chat and ordered it that way. They have received 13 orders so far, including mine, and will be receiving 30 units on thursday the 6th.

Just joking, but stupid me should have ordered earlier, you snooze and you lose!!!

I might not be so lucky after all

I forgot I was staying in a hotel so I clicked the same billing and shipping address button so they couldn't process my credit card

I just got off the phone with them and had the lady change the billing address but I hope I didn't get knocked out of the queue.

This is literally the deal of a century though. Reviews are putting it on par from a picture quality standpoint with the Cinema Displays. For $170.

The other sweet thing about this monitor is that it's only 1920x1200 which means I may be able to get away with my gpu setup without having to go tri-sli like I would for the 2560x1440 displays.

I bet you are 100% fine for a thursday shipment, even if they created a new order. Haven't really checked the reviews yet, but i'm going to look for some fun reading now and i don't expect any major drawbacks.

Ya, you get tons of pixels but not an insane amount that requires SLI.

I dare say this is capable of 1:1 pixel ratio so 1920x1080P titles should not have a problem, and the resulting picture should still be more than large enough.

Now i get to offer a friend/coworker an awesome deal on a lightly used 28" Hanns-G. Hehehe if they only knew what i'm trading up to .

I ordered a 26" last night and placed another order just now. I was just going to use one since I don't have the desk space but at this price wth I'll buy a new desk :p

edit: I had to go into live chat and they called me to place the order. Rep said that they should be fulfilling them wed/thurs but they can't guarantee my second one will be in that batch

That is the best deal I have seen for any piece of computer hardware. Those monitors retail for about 1000 dollars. I use one of them at work so I dont know how good they are for gaming but the picture quality on them is amazing and they are comparable to high end NEC or EIZO monitors.

Congrats, i doubt you'll have a problem with the 2nd one, and at least your first is practically guaranteed.

I agree, for both of the monitors posted in this thread. As for the 26" vp2655wb, everything i'm reading about it keeps mentioning "professional" and visibly fast pixel response etc etc. This thing seems to be really well built and obviously intended for the professional market.

I'm fine with DVI only, i'd rather it be that way than HDMI only.

Found a good discussion on the 26" vp2655wb with links to reviews and software downloads: http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/1458345

Not really, and no. It does look to be a great deal, but they are refurbished.
It all depends on who you ask and i'm in total agreeance with him because i don't mind refurbs especially if the price is right and the product is high end. Remember some of us [H]ere have been tracking this stuff for years and going by how quickly they went through product i suspect others feel the same ;)

It's not even a particularly old model, this one was released in 2010 :)

I ordered 2.
They would not give me free shipping, but they gave me a discount (no free shipping on items not in stock apparently). Still was 120 lbs, so still very price shipping.

after IL tax, came to about $440 for 2. I had to call and after they argued with me about buying something that wasn't in stock and trying to get me buy some visio instead, I had to just bluntly say that the only thing I wanted was the viewsonic.

sounds like an excuse they were making, but the other posters avoided the heavy-weight/free shipping limit by ordering them one at a time.

What was I going to do? Order 1 and then call back? I think they got them while you could still do it on the site.
