Those who pre-purchased through Origin have received their keys; I am downloading as I type this. I'm sure I am not alone in my interest to see the performance numbers for this game. I'll be posting results from my GTX 260 core 216/Phenom 955 setup, hopefully others will add their data as well.

Dowloading now, be interested to see how it runs on my rig now. When I played the Alpha, my GTX 580 was at 99% usage the whole time (max settings on BFBC2 hovers in the low to mid 80's).....

1680x1050 with textures on high, SSAO on, 2xMSAA, all other settings on medium, 30 fps minimum, 35-45 average depending on where I am looking and what effects are onscreen. I am using Nvidia's beta drivers.

EDIT: the tunnels have a lot of particle effects and average FPS was dropping below 30. I disabled AA to get 30-35 FPS. Kind of interesting that an indoor area is more demanding than an outdoor one.

When I try to run the Beta I get a "Application not found error", trying to re-install now...

Out of interest, what gpu and cpu are you running?

Some notes about gameplay: Seems somewhat unpolished considering that it is one month from release. Player animations glitch sometimes and in one case I saw someone bodysurfing along the ground - moving at full run speed while prone. Some players have figured out a way to get underneath the map, allowing them to kill with impunity. Similar to BC2, it is sometimes too easy to just start shooting at a distant "spotting marker" to get a kill. This could be remedied by reducing the duration of the spot marker and/or adding a cooldown so that the same player cannot be re-marked consecutively.
Apart from these things, the overall flow of the game is good. When attacking on rush mode, it genuinely feels like you are gradually pushing the enemy back. Firefights can last a good while without feeling too frenetic or too slow. One interesting feature is that if you manage to force an enemy into cover by damaging them but don't manage to finish them off, you still get "suppression" bonus points. Sound design is excellent.

Running the rig in my post on ultra - but msaa bumped down to 2x and its running just fine. Not sure what my FPS is but I'm wondering if ultra settings are actually enabled. Anyone know?

I tried maxing out everything and I get 35 fps average outdoors. In the subway level, average is 45 fps.

maxed everything out and was smooth. Getting ready to run fraps. So what is all of this talk about having a top cpu and a min GTX580.??? Maybe with 64 players ? Jets ? My work computer - i7 920 - 6850

sadly, it is so much like COD :(

considering I have 800 hours on BC2, you can count either one out. It has the feel of COD and I am not the only one out there that thinks that. I was hoping for a cross between Bad Company 2 and Battlefield. I am going to leave my judgement till the final comes out and the large maps are in place, but yea, right now, it has the cod feel and I hate seeing my feet when I jump.
