Dang, sorry bro. :( I never got into the game if that makes you feel any better. :D This beta launch has been a total mess so far. In two days this should get really ugly. lol Then when retail hits... oh my.
 
How big is the beta client download? I need to save some bandwidth for it (end of the month - close to the cap).
 
For those of you that didn't play in the Alpha, now you'll see what a heaping pile of shit battlelog and its server browser are.

Origin said about 3.5gb available space required when I downloaded this morning iirc.

Anyone else getting dc'd from every server after about 20 minutes? I haven't been able to play a full round yet..
 
What a huge turn off, just finished downloading and installing. Had to install the browser plug in and the only way to actually launch the game is from the broswer and it only does matchmaking which I am now 44th in the queue. LMAO GG Dice, you fail. Now when I actually do get into a game not of my choice, I hope it's worth it.

or you could not be dumb and join an actual server instead of using the matchmaking
 
Curious, i have gotten my Beta code for Pre-Ordering on Origin, but not my email for my Beta Code for pre-ordering MOH (though i did get the first email a month or 2 ago). Wonder why.

I have yet to try it, but they may just use the matchmaking system in this beta because there are no 3rd party servers? but for the actual release it will not be that way.
 
I absolutely love how fucking hard Battlelog is getting shit on in the battlelog forums. I'm still holding out on a tiiiiiiny little bit of hope that one day we'll get a real in-game server browser added in via patch.
 
i installed it this morning, then had to install the browser plugin. I tried to join a game before heading to work just to check it out and couldn't get into one. I hope I'll have better luck tonight, but I am worried because if it is like this with a limited number of people, when it goes to open beta it could be a nightmare even getting into a game
 
Anyone preorder yesterday and not receive a code? I got a friend who hasn't received his yet..

Ha - I actually scheduled today off but after all the problems this morning and the late beta start I came in. My boss was digging my decision. lol

Hah honestly I forgot today was the early beta start until I saw the email in my inbox. I was a little bit excited but I think the Alpha helped kill a lot of my "gotta play it now" urges.
 
I managed to get about 2 hours in this morning....now though, all the servers nearby are maxed on players and queue lengths are rediculous.

Oh joy. I can't imagine what a clustfuck it'll be once I'm done downloading (started at 9am, and I'm almost at 25%, hooray!).
 
I got in without a single problem into a local server. Sooo much fun. Why the hell are you people connecting to servers with people waiting in queue, I joined a server that was 30 out of 32 and got in right away.
 
Game sucks now. Alpha was great. But the changes they made have ruined it imo. Namely more HP. Another fucking BC2 disaster.
 
Its really jittery on my machine. FPS feels high but its hard to explain. Also, its way different than any previous battlefield game.

I don;t see the hp being much different from the alpha, i took out 5 people witha single mag from an m16. Pretty much how it was in the alpha from what i can see.
