It is three separate mounts. I was going to get one of the triple mount stands prior to my research but found that splitting it up made it cheaper and left less of a footprint on my desk. I also found that when you went 24" or bigger the stability on a single mount wasn't as good.
Just my 2 cents.
What model and what was the problem?
I mean, it's a stand, if it holds the monitor in place and doesn't fall over what more do you expect?
