Was wondering how to do you get Bad Company 2 to work in surround? I have my monitors in portrait mode, and I enter the game, it defaults to the center monitor and I can't click on anything. I've tried editing the settings file, but once the game starts, all the monitors are active, but the game goes blank for a few seconds then defaults back to the center monitor and I can't click on anything again.

I have the same problem, I think the last 2 nvidia drivers beta/official have broken this game. I havent been able to play it for a month. I play it in landscape @ 5760x1080 but it shifts the entire games screen to the right and i cant see half of my screen, even in menus.

Even when I switch to 1920x1080 , still, screen is centered but I cant click on anything. So fucking annoying. Still no driver release to fix this issue.

It's a refresh rate problem. Edit the ini and change the refresh rate manually to 60hz.

Unfortunately it didn't work for me. Used 266.58 instead and its now working fine. Thanks for the link. Btw, playing portrait mode is new to me. Especially with 3 30" monitors blasting away 2 feet from your face. So hard on my peripheral vision.

Anyone have any new info on this? I have tried the newer beta I saw posted somewhere, where you had to download origin, install a beta, but no luck.

The newest beta drivers work fine for me in Surround. Are you running the newest NVIDIA beta drivers? I had a lot of problems with earlier versions myself, but these seem solid.

Which version specifically? Are you running any settings.ini tweaks to make this work? Are you on the steam or origin version of the game?

There's also been a patch the last day that fixes multiple monitors problems. Also the Surround on BC2 is bad, it won't play through the center speaker.

Sorry, missed this reply.

285.27, no ini tweaks, Steam version.

The other option is to edit your ini file to force dx9 mode. You give up just a little bit of eyecandy, but it makes the game run normally when you have surround mode enabled. Haven't tested any method with the latest Nvidia beta's yet.
