My thoughts exactly. Especially the part about the indoor area being "Scripted". Meh.

Also the camera is so close! It looks like there playing through a magnifying glass. It seriously reminds me of Playing in 800x600 all over again. And what is the deal with everything looking so disproportionate? I seriously miss the Baulders Gate style art direction :( /rant

I'm more speechless to the fact that the Druid somehow has access to the Poison Javelin skill, that's only for the Amazon.

will they be releasing a collector edition that comes with diablo 1 and 2 and its expansion packs like what they did with starcraft 2 ?

i hope not that would be a lame Collector's Edition. I already own all of them.

I bought the SC2 collectors and it was only neat that they included starcraft 1 because it came on a Thumb drive. I seriously doubt they will do the same with Diablo. Not to mention nothing for the collectors edition has been announced or leaked yet.
 
The graphics look fine to me. I actually didn't care for a good percentage of D2 artwork.

When it came out is irrelevant. The argument isn't "Diablo 3 has better graphics." Yea, well no shit, smart ass.

The argument is about the feel and look of early Act 1 environments, and Diablo 3 wins hands down.

Diablo 2 has some amazing environments, but early Act 1 is definitely not one of them.

Man, I have plenty of friends and family, and a girlfriend who wants to become family, so I am well versed in these "processing fees."

I am just hoping they do a pre-order for free beta access.
 
I know I'm getting one soon, but I won't know what's fair. I don't really want to start pricing the price of a key until I actually get it.
 
I can't wait for this game. Even if it is just a graphical update of D2 with better resolutions I'll be happy.

But its not....If anything it looks like a downgrade in graphics and artwork, Where is the Gothic look of Diablo? Not hear from what I've been seeing. If anything it looks like a slightly darker version of World of Warcrafts artwork. Add a few skulls and spiderwebs and call it Diablo? I don't think so. Where are the dead burnt bodies and pools of blood? I wan't dark and sinister damn it. I'm just not seeing it. If I've missed it then please someone show me some screens with that kind of stuff in it.


....Well atleast the music is Diablo esque.

Why do you think I said it looked mediocre?

It certainly wasn't to troll, I didn't really get the whole Diablo vibe from it, it looks like Diablo with World of Warcraft artwork instead of straight up Diablo artwork.

You remember when the game had concept artwork released a long ass time ago?

It was bright and cartoony!!!

And this . . .

well, if you wanna call this garbage a game, I guess you could.

You could even call it Diablo, it certainly doesn't make it Diablo.

The videos I've seen have enough blood for me, the ground was covered in it... well at least if you were fighting enemies that bleed. I'm completely fine with the art direction, the lack of stat points, the auction house, always online. I'll be buying the game and I have a pretty damn good feeling that I will be playing it for a long time.
 
So either this game is too good so people dont have time to post screenshot, or the game sucks and nobody is playing it.

If there is no NDA can somebody post screenshots?
