I can't believe how reckless these support instructions are. There is absolutely no mention of safety equipment or a helmet here...someone could get seriously hurt. Heh, and people wonder why we make fun of Apple. Thanks to DLove for the heads up!

This is good advice. I use it for my MacBook Pro. The part where you should disconnect all cords is also a good idea.

Wait, grasping both sides of the computer...with what?!?! I didn't get that iAccessory, don't leave me in the dark Apple!

I like to use a carrying case, but the two-handed method could double as a food tray in a pinch. Good thinking Apple!

;)

I think steve found this while looking for instructions on how to pick up his PC :D

For the record instructions for your customers, no matter how simple, are rarely a bad thing.

Maybe some random grandmother is afraid shell dislodge some random magnet that powers the omegatron gizmodo in the part that lights up.

Just sayin, not really make fun of worthy imo.

My first though was that it was instructions reading:

"How to simultaneously look smug and hip while carrying your laptop."

How to iMasturbate...
  1. pull pants down
  2. put on your favorite porn
  3. use your favorite hand or both (make sure you're not holding it wrong);)
  4. enjoy the next 30-60 seconds

"Carry it to wherever you wish"

Well I followed the instructions exactly. I "wished" to carry my G5 through a car wash. It doesn't turn on anymore. Where do I iSue?

Now that's funny. Although, given this is HardOCP and how many graphics cards and power supplies it probably has in it (to post news stories no doubt), he may require a forklift, so some instructions might be required.

An apple employee sent me a photo of an interesting letter sent to them around the time of this article.

These directions are for the people who rode teh short yellow bus earlier in life...

People that use macs or any crap apple product are this dumb they have to be told everything by there evil overlord steve jobs and only have 1 button on the mouse anything else is to much for them to handle and they have this need to spend for over priced weak hardware in shney white plastic cases.

I use an iPad, I am superior, that is all.

I will be damned. Here, I have been carrying my g5 IMac with one hand.

... Not sure if serious

I use this method to carry everything, it works well. I lulz'd when I saw this thread.

...and this is why the zombies will take over. iZealots will be searching for a guide on how to unplug the power lead as the zombie horde feasts on their livers.
