Don't yell at me for not having a price (It's $228 or less....happy?). This is just a heads up before it starts so there should be some leeway here (I think). Hopefully Newegg drops it enough to warrant me wasting my time posting this (hint, hint).

Newegg shellshocker preview has it listed at $199.99 for the 10:00 am PDT slot. Newegg Free shipping is UPS innovations, which I've now banned from my shipping options. Much slower and tracking is barely an option than other shipping choices. The deal OP posted would be the better deal.
 
Reseller ratings for the B&H photo/video store linked in OP are pretty high, they aren't charging tax to CA like newegg, and I wouldn't have to wake up early. Sounds like newegg is about to lose a sale.

Same here. This is where I get almost all my photography equipment. Great service too. Had a faulty item x 2 fully refunded with no hassle and they paid the shipping.

So this M4 at $200 is supposed to be a SHELL SHOCKER? pfff newegg.... :confused:
 
Yeah, $199 is not a deal. Newegg has the 120Gb Agility 3 for $159 after a $30 MIR which would seem to be a better deal. Surprised a shellshocker is such a small discount. I was expecting $179 or less.

In my experience, both the UPS innovations and the Fedex equivalent are simply terrible for tracking and speed. :(
 
USPS never fails me :)

Was hoping for more of a "shock" with this shellshocker. No dice. But thanks for the heads up none the less!

I believe both are normal, non trackable, U.S. Mail for all but the dropoff and delivery. I suspect plain old U.S. Mail would be better, since they ship more days.

Yea they've been going the Best Buy route (including others) route of *sending* out weekly deals that aren't anything special for quite some time now.
