I don't know what it is about this video but I think it is pretty damn neat. Imagine what it cost to make this 60 second clip.

3 guys, 44 days, 11 countries, 18 flights, 38 thousand miles, an exploding volcano, 2 cameras and almost a terabyte of footage... all to turn 3 ambitious linear concepts based on movement, learning and food ....into 3 beautiful and hopefully compelling short films.....

Wow! One of the most thought provoking things Ive seen here in my 10+ years on the [H]

Neat but this guy has more money than he knows what to do with obviously. And in "Learn", where is the math and science?

The scenery moves so fast, it's impossible to appreciate it.

Nice effect, but poor idea.

Meh,

Looks and sounds just like a forgettable ad on TV for something I'd ignore and never buy :p

I dont get it its hurting peoples eyes? Unless you have epilepsy.....

But, FREAKING AWESOME!

meh - tried that same idea. tripped and scraped my knee on the first take in paris. decided to hit the bars instead. c'est la vie.

very artistic, loved it.

that guy had to do a ton of note taking to measure those distance shots.

My eyes and brain.........ow

Though very very neat, but still, ow
BUT STILL AWESOME

Jelly?

I'm going to assume for a moment, that the guy and his friend who made this video, did more than just make a short movie. Seeing the world is priceless, and more exciting than what the average Joe invests his dollar in.

This just looks like a thinly-veiled "look at me" video of a young, rich white guy touring countries.

Nice idea for a video.. but the shots scroll way too fast to let us enjoy the scenery. I understand why the artist used the effect that he did, but could have alternatively cropped longer shots of each scene and just made the 'walking' sequence start over a few more times for a similar effect.

Nice. Pretty creative. I'm pretty sure this will spawn many copy cats.

Or just slip the edit point until it matched.... seriously, technically this was easy, and the guy I found very annoying, I watched to punch him in the face... but he'd probably still be smiling... damn YOU< STOP SMILING THIS WORLD IS FUCKED UP NOTHING TO BE HAPPY ABOUT!!!

 It's been done before, don't give this jerk credit

(btw, he stole my sandwhich, that's why I'm upset)

Whats with all the cynical comments? I bet if somebody discovered time travel, the average [H]ard commenter would still be unimpressed....

Now that was simply awesome...

I think the cynicism comes from jealousy...I would love to be able to travel that much and do that much, although in a MUCH longer period of time!

Let me guess, he's a film student that used grant money to go on vacation around the world... er I mean develop this compelling work of art.

I like it, just wish I could play it back in slowmo so I can appreciate the locations more...
