Humble Indie Bundle 3

The bundle is great. I have them all except hammerfight.
Cogs is good for firing up here and there and completing some puzzles.
And yet it moves is pretty awesome.
Lots of people loved VVVVV.
All in all it is some great games, and can't beat the price.

I wish super meat boy goes on the bundle or minecraft. Those 2 are the indie games I really liked.

Thought the Frozenbyte bundle was #3... still haven't played all the games from the last set. Thanks.

Hmm, I thought one of the previous bundles included And Yet it Moves but maybe that was the indie game bundle on Steam a while back. I'll have to check it out.

They just sweetened the deal:

"Bundle in a Bundle!
Pay more than the average of $4.84, and you'll receive all of the games in Humble Indie Bundle #2 as well!"

so what if we already bought it for more than that?

Just follow your Humble Bundle URL in the e-mail you should have been sent when you made the original purchase and you'll see all 11 games.

Well, before I didn't care, but now I just threw in $25.

sweet thanks parja. just moved and havent even set up my gaming computer yet, so i havent even clicked the link to check. so these never expire right? but i can only use the code once? i might buy a second bundle for my gf. she wants to get back into gaming and im trying to get her to do computer this time instead of nintendo (gameboy, n64, gamecube, wii.)

An average of $5 for all of these games for charity?

That's pathetic...

No, the worst thing is on steam forums where people ask if they can get refunds for duplicates they recently bought. Idiots.

Anything is better than nothing in my opinion. My only concern would be people who are donating extremely low amounts, such as $0.01, depending on how transaction costs are handled.

The steam code is unique, but they give you more codes for other dd services. I don't think the games have DRM anyway. You pay what you think they're worth or what you want to give and the whole thing is based on your integrity so buy what you think you need at what you can afford keeping in mind that there are credit card fees and overhead, etc.

Are the additional games suppose to show up in steam?
The Humble Bundle 2 games require a separate key. Use the link in the confirmation e-mail you got when you bought it, and it'll take you to a page where you can get the key.

Not sure if this was said but I like that the HB3 deal allows me to add those games along with HB2 to Steam so I don't have to worry about keeping emails with keys numbers!

Spent $10 and got bundle 2 and 3. Sucks though because I literally bought Machinarium 30 seconds before I realized that it was in bundle 3. I wonder if Steam support will let me change it to a gift? Hmm...

Got in on this deal, very nice. I think the average price is much too low, but hey that's me.

Agreed. They should make that over average thing all the time, because that would drive up the price. For $25, I think I got a steal, so the people paying $1 are robbing the place blind, but that is what you get when you can name your price.

Revenge of the Titans and VVVVV, two games I knew nothing about when I bought it, are really fun.

They did the same over average thing with the HIB #2 to get the #1 games. Pretty much everyone who got HIB#2 probably expected it... but didn't care because they already have HIB#2 and #1.

I've always participated when I can despite already owning many of the games. This time it was harder to do it simply because I already own all but one of the games, however the charity aspect helps and I'd like them to keep doing these things.

And these really introduce you to some great little developers. I, too loved RotT. Steam's promotion of indie games has been big too. But the promise of DRM free installs, soundtracks, and charity all help keep the HIBs going.

They just added Atom Zombie Smasher into the mix.

Awesome, awesome game. Probably my favorite indie purchase from the summer sale.
Should now be in your Steam games list!

They just keep adding games, I've enjoyed them and glad I grabbed this. Thanks Humble Bundle, Good stuff.

only a few more days, so get it before it's gone! throwing in the bundle2 games makes this a great deal.

This deal gets better by the day.

Horrible that people take advantage of this deal and give next to nothing.
