I haven't seen any decent GPU deals lately. Looking to upgrade my girlfriend's 5770. Where are the deals?

There haven't been any deals in the last 4 months that have been anything more than warm in my opinion.

Best bet is to find a decent card on newegg that has a free game or two that you can sell off real quick.

I got a gtx 570 for 240 bucks, but that wasn't a sale, it was a price error, heh.

I know they are hard to find right now, I think bitcoin jacked up the prices of ALL the decent AMD cards... even e-bay is outrageous right now.

there was a great deal couple weeks ago for a 6950 1GB @ $170 on amazon. i was in your shoes waiting for a deal and i couldn't pass on these..... I sold my 5870 and was planning to wait for next gen to upgrade, but i couldnt resist :D

bitcoins have started to fizzle for miners right now, so expect to see more deals show up.

Why not just get another 5770 family one and crossfire it? No reason not to unless you have mobo restrictions.

I'm waiting for some GPU deals also. I have everything ordered for a new build except for a GPU. I can hold out for another 2 months :p

I think the best deal I see is $145 for a Powercolor 6850 at newegg, if you use the 10 off for new customer coupon, free 2 day shipping with that trial offer, and there is a $15 rebate.

Yeah, she's on an old Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600 @ 3.5ghz. No need to upgrade the processor/motherboard yet (reliable as hell and runs everything out there beautifully) but I need a single card upgrade. :(

An XFX 6850 (came with Dirt 3 and Shogun) was on special two weeks ago for $124.99 AR + Instant code but Newegg jacked the price up and ruined the deal. I'm itching to get rid of my two 3870's to upgrade as well but like the OP I haven't seen a good deal since.

The best deal was about 2 months ago on the EVGA GTX 460 cards with a digital software suite that you could sell on ebay for around $70.
