i wonder when this RAM pricing will bottom out... because in a week we might see 2x4gb 1600 @ 44.99 or something
 
Jesus. When I got my i7, 4GB were hard to find at vendors and were about $200 each. And I don't think it was 1600 speed either.

Excellent price, but unfortionantly (3x2) 6GB is still plenty for me.
 
Can't resist, In for one. don't need them but will find some reason to use them :p
 
I didn't need this at all but justified it as a just-in-case upgrade for BF3.

man, after purchasing 64gb of this stuff over various times since last november, i think im finally gonna pass on this one.
 
wonders if I need 24GB instead of the 12GB I am using....
 
Damn and I just bought 1333mhz for $40. I'm going to stock up before DDR3 goes to the way of DDR2 and doubles in cost. I got screwed because I didn't have enough DDR2 RAM for my old rigs so I ended up just upgrading every PC in the house to an i7 and i5 spec.
 
Really?? Damnit I just bought the DDR3 1333 last week. This is insane how cheap memory is. I wonder how much longer they can sustain.
 
Awesome deal....just bought the CL8 stuff a few weeks ago for $64 and I thought that was a bargain!

I have 2GB x 4 more sticks of DDR3 1600 just sitting around doing nothing so I'm gonna have to pass on it...
 
I just bit on the kingston 2x4GB deal at Microcenter for $55 - 30 MIR = $25 shipped.

So, I'm going to pass on this one!

Yup, pretty much.

Ordered 2 sets anyway. Was going to do 8GB in my new build, but at this price, may as well go 16GB!

Now just gotta figure out what I'm going to do with that 8GB of Sniper.
 
damn it. already maxed with 24gb vengeance. wonder if i should swap it with this.
 
So, how is memory even getting this cheap? Are they just clearing this out to make room for new 30nm memory with lower voltages?

This is a noob question, but since going 16 on my sabertooth p67 does that mean i will have 2 duel channels running? How does that work?

It'll be 8gb on one channel and 8gb on the second.
 
Got this, seems to be good stuff. With the other 2 promos running for the same amount, the specs are close enough to go for this set, plus flash drive is a nice toss in.
